ALIBERICO FOOD PACKAGING, through the CEOE Foundation, makes a donation to several NGOs

Since last March, on the issue of the crisis caused by COVID-19, the economy and society have been seriously affected. Many people have had to turn to organizations that ensure that everyone has access to basic goods.
Faced with this situation, and through the CEOE Foundation, ALIBERICO FOOD PACKAGING has not hesitated to collaborate in solidarity and has donated more than 200 rolls of aluminium and 140,000 food containers to three NGOs to help the neediest people and ensure that the meals they offer are kept in perfect condition and can be served and transported easily.
“Un inicio para todos“, an association that helps young people in vulnerable situations, “Fundación hospitalaria de la orden de Malta” which was created to help groups in need of special attention and “Fundación Altius” which was created to help those affected by the lack of employment, have all been very grateful for the donation.

ALIBERICO FOOD PACKAGING, BSAFE Certified

On 22th June, ALIBERICO FOOD PACKAGING obtained the Safe and Clean Company certificate awarded by ADEFAM, the Association of Family Businesses in Madrid, which allows its employees to work both in the plant and in the offices in complete safety.

KPMG is in charge of checking and certifying that the procedures and activities implemented in the companies applying for the BSAFE seal are considered to be hygiene, cleanliness and social distancing measures in accordance with the COVID-19 Management Policy of the Family Business Association of Madrid.

ALIBERICO FOOD PACKAGING, adhering to the COVID-19 Management Policy, has provided all kinds of measures: preventive and response, in order to avoid the risk of COVID-19 infection among its workers, customers and suppliers.

With extreme hygiene measures, a respect for the minimum social distance in all work stations, posters throughout the office and plant with indications of the safety protocol, and providing new measures to carry out the work with the established safety standards, hydroalcoholic gel, masks and all the necessary material and instructions to mitigate the risk of incidence, this has made it possible to obtain this certificate.

In view of the current health crisis, ALIBERICO FOOD PACKAGING wishes to reiterate its gratitude, consideration and recognition to all the staff of the health system and to all the people who are helping the most needy people in solidarity.
For this reason, ALIBERICO FOOD PACKAGING joins the many gestures of solidarity in our country and has made a significant donation of more than 32,000 aluminum containers of different types to Caritas Diocesanas Jerez to send them to Costaleros por Nuestros Mayores.

An initiative that was born in Jerez de la Frontera to help the elderly, but in view of the growing demand for help had to ally itself with Cáritas to be able to provide help to all people, providing them with food, hydrogel and masks that they themselves make. Madrid’s Counsellor of Economy visits Alibérico Food Packaging

Manuel Giménez, Counsellor of Economy, Science, Competitiveness and Employment of the Community of Madrid visited today the factory of ALIBÉRICO FOOD PACKAGING, the largest manufacturer of semi-rigid aluminium food containers in Spain, located in Alcalá de Henares (Madrid).

Accompanied by Clemente González Soler, president of the ALIBÉRICO Group, Manuel Giménez visited all production facilities and met personally the team of ALIBÉRICO FOOD PACKAGING. Both highlighted the importance to support the growth of businesses and industry, as the main engines of the economy.

During his visit, Manuel Giménez has shown a great interest in the recycling and sustainable system of the factory, which has a very efficient system by which 100% of the aluminium scrap from the production lines is collected by suction and stacked for its later smelting and reuse.
